Dear
Teachers, Dear Classmates,
Thank you very much for your care and great help you have given
my family.
A week ago, my mother told me that my father had very serious
cancer and needed an operation, which was a great shock for
me to accept. What was worse, my family could not afford the
operation, nor could I, his son, see my father die without medical
care. My classmates and my teachers, after having received this
information, were very much concerned for me. They consoled
me and acted as my think tank. They reported to the school administration,
and as a result, a proposal was posted for the entire school
to offer a helping hand.
With this proposal, the staff and students of the school, as
well as the parents, all gave their help by contributing a large
sum of money to my family. This means not only their true care,
medical care for my father, the support of a mother¨s confidence,
but also a soothing of a son¨s soul.
Your help has saved my father, and my poor family from a crisis.
What you have done is beyond my thanks. It is you who have given
my father a new opportunity to live, it is you who have given
my mother much help when she needed it most, and it is you who
have given me comfort when I was terribly saddened by misfortune.
Your care and money are so overwhelming that I can do nothing
but keep your love in my heart.
On behalf of my family, I sincerely thank you, teachers and
classmates.
I promise to dedicate my life to helping others in need; I
will study even harder to show my thanks to school and to all
of you for having saved my family from bankruptcy.
Thank you all and good luck to you, too!
